I love to cook but I have a tough crowd to feed – my three kids. You would think they were food critics for The New York Times or something. I’m too sensitive I know. I want so much for them to like my creations, only to be disappointed by the groans when they come to the dinner table.
I persevere because I know they have to be introduced to foods many times before they will learn to like them. (My daughter just tried a grilled cheese the other day. Crazy I know, but she doesn’t like bread!) I also feel good about setting an example for them. Sometimes what they watch us do is even more important than what we tell them to do.
Here you will find simple, easy and healthy choices for a busy, modern family. I always buy grass fed beef and organic chicken. As a general rule, I try to avoid preservatives, additives and food coloring. However, my goal is balance and sometimes we indulge, slip up or just give up temporarily.

Great recipe idea, plan on trying that next week!
